So tall she could almost touch the clouds Holding on strong through the hardships As she moved to an unknown place One filled with Cherry Blossoms Through the days they mocked and laughed They pushed her down with looks of disgust For she was an Evergreen Her beauty had paled in relation Yet when the strong winds had hit All the beauty had fallen and crumbled to dust All but her were stripped of their masks For she had nothing to hid She stood as tall as she could For once proud of her roots.
